Whats on in Kensington and Chelsea this March

It is another busy month ahead in Kensington and Chelsea! From designing the ideal home to remembering a legend of British music; here is what you could be doing in London’s Royal Borough this March:

Ideal Home Show 2016 (18 March – 6 April)

If you want to stylise your home with the latest interior design trends, then you must pay a visit to the Ideal Home Show! The Ideal Home Show will run from mid-March into early April at the Olympia exhibition centre in London’s Kensington and Chelsea. This is the UK’s biggest home show and whether you are looking to revamp your whole home or add some finishing touches, this is a day out to fill you with inspiration!

Judith Cain: Picturing Japan (until 18 March)

An art exhibition well worth visiting is being presented at the Thackeray Gallery in Kensington. Judith Cain has returned from her latest overseas adventure to Japan where she has taken inspiration from the flora, fabric, textiles and colours of the Orient to create some stunning paintings.

David Bowie Photography Exhibition (until 24 March)

Head to the Richard Young Gallery on Holland Street in Kensington to see an amazing collection of photos which commemorate the iconic man that was, David Bowie. The collection, hand picked and taken by Richard himself, spans nearly forty years in time. The two met as teenagers in London well before their respective careers took off. This is a great way to commemorate the life of a British legend and appreciate some insight from a man who knew him well.

Crafts Event: Arrival of Spring (29 and 31 March)

Do you need an excuse to celebrate the arrival of Spring? This FREE event will be held at London’s North Kensington Library. Starting at 3:30pm, the craft sessions will be led by an instructor, Eithne, who will bring all the materials needed to get creative! At the end of the afternoon, you will leave with your very own handmade bird.

We at Vita Beauty are proud of our location in Kensington and Chelsea. The people who live and work around us make it such a vibrant and interesting place to be. So please, get out there and support some of these wonderful events!
