Katherine Hooker Sale (Thurs 4th – Sat 6th Feb)

Katherine Hooker designed clothes are worn by celebrities including Jerry Hall and the future Queen of England herself, Kate Middleton. A great opportunity to find a gorgeous coat, jacket or dress at the Katherine Hooker Sale at Chelsea Old Town Hall. For inspiration, check out katherinehooker.com


Harry Potter Book Night (Thurs 4th Feb)

North Kensington Library is throwing its doors open to all witches, wizards and muggles for an evening of Harry Potter fun and games! Kids are encouraged to come in their best magical or muggle clothing. Starts 4pm, FREE.

This event is repeated on the 6th February, at the earlier time of 2pm.


British Designer Sale (Wed 10th Feb)

Again in February, Chelsea Old Town Hall is showcasing some exciting clothes ranges with the British Designer Sample Sale for both Ladieswear and Menswear. There will be a minimum 50% discount off the retail price of all the clothes on show. More information can be found here.

On Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th February the child fashion designer Darcy Brown will be also be selling clothes from their stylish range.


Monkey Music (Wed 10th Feb)

These FREE classes at Brompton Library will delight young kids with structured, action packed entertainment including: dance, puppets, music, props and more!

A great environment for young children to flourish under the guidance of trained teachers.


In contact with good feelings (Thurs 11th Feb)

Another FREE event at Brompton Library, this class is designed to promote positive thinking and relaxation. The seminar looks at how we can change our mind set and move our attention away from life’s difficulties.


Chinese calligraphy and lantern making workshop (Thurs 18th Feb)

Chinese calligraphy is an ancient art of writing. Expressing more than words, it has a huge aesthetic appeal. To celebrate the Chinese New Year, North Kensington Library are giving a FREE lesson in Chinese writing on hand-made lanterns which guests can take home.


Fashion and Local History (Thurs 25th Feb)

Kensington and Chelsea has a rich fashion history and you are invited to delve into the amazing Fashion archives with Chelsea Library’s local history librarian Dave Walker. His illustrated talk covers everything from crinolines to the fashionable King’s Road.

As you can see, Kensington and Chelsea is putting on some great events to do with friends and family this February. There’s a lot more to look forward to than Valentine’s Day!
