It’s nearly December and the excitement – some would say madness – in London for Christmas will inevitably be cranking up. There’s loads of stuff going on around the city and here are some of our top picks for Kensington and Chelsea, right on the Vita Beauty doorstep!
Finding your family history online (Tues 1 December)
Who doesn’t love a good FREE event?! At the Kensington Central library on Horton Street there are bite-size taster sessions being held on how to do some digging into your own family history – all from a computer and web browser. Attending this could give you some very interesting things to say at the family dinner table this Christmas, after all, you never know what you might discover! Starts 4pm.
Kensington Doll House Festival (Sat 5 December)
Do you have a young girl in the family who would love to look around international Dolls House & Miniatures? Who are we kidding… do you know any responsible adults interested in looking round a doll house exhibition showcasing the best 170 craftsmen and women from around the world? With or without someone under the age of 12. Go to Kensington Town Hall on Kensington High Street for this great event. Entry times and costs vary depending on the guests’ ages and group size, find out more here.
Designer Sales (Sat 12 December)
Designer Sales UK Christmas Sample sale will be taking place at Chelsea Old Town Hall on the Kings Road. This is a great opportunity to purchase beautiful Christmas presents in the lovely space of Chelsea Old Town Hall. Womenswear, Menswear and accessories galore will be on the racks of well-known London Fashion Week brands as well as up and coming designers. Come with the intention to shop for others, leave with a bag full of fabulous clothes for yourself. Doors open 12pm, £2 entry (£1 concessions).
