Kate Bosworth’s To-Die-For Orange Lippie

Kate Bosworth slayed at the 90 Minutes in Heaven premiere, and her look was even stated to be one of makeup artist Hung Vanngo’s favourite looks of the year. She’s donned these citrus-toned lips plenty of times before, and combined with a natural and minimalist look on her eyes and cheeks with just a pop of peach blush, it really steals the show.

Bosworth uses CK One Pure Colour Lipstick in Little Liar to sport bright red lips with an orange undertone, but if you’re feeling more daring try Mac in Morange for an even more orange toned smile. For a more high-street friendly price, pick up Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Electric Orange.

Selena Gomez’s Superhero Red Shadow

The fans went absolutely mad for Selena’s stunning pink and red eyeshadow look at last years November American Music Awards, with hundreds of fashion bloggers trying to nail the look. The nude lip really sets off her dramatic eyes, and it’s a look we’ve been dreaming of ever since.

Although Gomez’s makeup artist has been known to release tutorials in the past, at the moment we’re going to have to keep experimenting and come up with our own method of recreating this stunning look. The closest eyeshadow shade match we’ve found is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, consisting of deep pink and red tones with can be blended out with neutral matte shades. Add a dash of Kat Von D Metal Crush eyeshadow in Raw Power to the crease of the eyelid for extra depth and a bit of glitz. If you feel like being even bolder, you can work in Illamasqua Powder Shadow in Demon for an even deeper and brighter red tone.

Rhianna’s Outgoing Glitter Lips

When does Rhianna ever not look incredible? Luckily these glitter lips are one of the easiest celebrity makeup looks on this list to recreate, believe it or not. Pat McGrath Labs has made things easy for us by releasing a stunning set of glitter lip kits guaranteed to get heads turning. The kit has five pieces inside, including two incredibly pigmented matte lipsticks, a clear vinyl gloss, a metallic gold pigment, and microfine glitter. Simply lay down a velvety colour with the two matte lipsticks, glide on the clear gloss, layer on the metallic pigment, then carefully press on the microfine glitter. The bad news is that the lip kit is highly sought after so can be tricky to get your hands on. For an alternative, try Glitter Lips by Beauty Boulevard, an even simpler way (just three steps!) to achieve dazzling lips – and available in a range of beautiful colours.

Mila Kunis’ Classic Smokey Eye

Mila Kunis has become known for her breathtaking smokey eyes, and although the technique can be tricky to begin with, with a bit of practice it’s fairly simple to achieve. The best thing to do rather than buying individual shadows, is to pick up a smokey eye kit which will have every shade included that you need to create this smouldering look. Some of our favourites include the Topshop Smokey Eye Kit in Subversive, Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette and Smashbox Full Exposure Palette. Pick up one of these palettes and a soft kohl pencil (we recommend Kiko for a super pigmented but velvety pencil) to create perfectly blended shadows.

Follow our step by step guide to achieve this look:

1. Apply an eye primer to create a smooth base for your shadow, we recommend Nyx Cosmetics Eye Primer.

2. Use a kohl pencil to trace your top lash line, and then dot between your lower lashes in a tightline technique and smudge both lash lines with a cotton swab or brush.

3. Sweep on a dark shadow over your lid and into your crease, blending the colour up and outward to create depth.

4. Brush a lighter, neutral shade just over your brow bone to blend out the colour.

5. Finish with two coats of a dramatic mascara, we love Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara for drop dead gorgeous lashes.
